Event Details:

Skate with family and friends at Elksentre Arena in the Hart.
Public skating occurs on Friday nights from 7:30pm to 9:00pm at the Elksentre, starting October 15 and running until spring break (excluding holidays and some selected dates). Skating also runs on Saturday and Sunday afternoons, and selected Non-Instructional Days at the Rolling Mix Concrete Arena or Elksentre Arena.

Things to note before you go skating:

• CSA-approved helmets are mandatory for skaters under 18 years of age, and highly recommended for all other skaters.
• Participants 5 years and older: Bring a mask and wear it in all hallways and corridors. Sanitize your hands before you enter the arena.
• Skate and helmet rentals, as well as recreational skate sharpening, are available during public skating. ​
• Waivers must be signed before skaters enter the ice rink. Print off waiver and fill out before you arrive.
• Bring cash or credit card for payment, or buy a 10-session pass or season pass and bring it to each session.
