Kickstart the holiday season by attending the 26th annual Civic Light Up on Sunday, November 24 at Canada Games Plaza in downtown Prince George.

Stop by from 4:00pm to 6:00pm to:

• Enjoy live entertainment, music, and dance.
• Try complimentary hot cocoa and holiday treats.
• Join Mayor Lyn Hall to light up the Canadian Tire Tree of Lights.
• Meet Santa, get your face painted, and enjoy a holiday hay ride (presented by Wood Wheaton Honda).
• Watch fireworks rise from atop Connaught Hill, starting at 6:00pm (presented by Canadian Tire and the Spirit of the North Healthcare Foundation).

While you stop by the event, you’re also invited to view the Festival of Trees inside the Prince George Conference and Civic Centre (regular admission applies), and bring a nonperishable food item to support your local food bank.
