The City of Prince George, in partnership with the Prince George Council of Seniors, will be hosting a Seniors Housing Symposium, a full day event that provides participants with current and relevant information on housing and related issues for seniors. Attend the Seniors Housing Symposium on Thursday, May 2 from 8:30pm to 3:00pm at the Prince George Conference and Civic Centre.
The Housing Symposium presents:
• Interactive sessions, including the Symposium’s keynote speaker, Isobel MacKenzie, a BC seniors advocate who intends to share info about her role and highlight issues that matter most to seniors.
• Presentations by the City of Prince George, BC Housing, and Northern Health, followed by facilitated dialogues sessions to encourage seniors to ask questions and provide feedback.
• A trade show showcasing programs and services available to seniors.
Registration is free of charge, thanks in part to an age-friendly project grant from the Union of BC Municipalities (UBCM).
Register online now. Registration for the Symposium is also available through calling the Prince George Council of Seniors at 250-564-5888.
