Prince George hosts approx. 140 athletes from over 20 different Nations, over 200 coaches and officials, and thousands of expected visitors at the World Para Nordic Championships from February 15 to 24.

Each Victory Ceremony follows a full day of races (Race Day) and competitions held at the Otway Caledonia Nordic Ski Club located at 8141 Otway Road in Prince George.

The World Para Nordic Skiing Championships are held every two years after the Paralympic Winter Games and represent the pinnacle of achievement for Para Nordic athletes. These athletes are grouped into three classes for competition (sitting, standing, and visually impaired) and compete in four cross-country skiing and four biathlon medal events over 10 days.
