Take a 20km plus hike along the diverse Centennial Connector Trail Loop within Prince George.
The Caledonia Ramblers is hosting a moderate/ strenuous hike on Sunday, October 14. This hiking trip runs through the Lheidli T'enneh Memorial Park along the Heritage River Trail to Cottonwood Island Nature Park and then onto Moore's Meadow Nature Park and linking to the UNBC Connector trail. From there, the trail heads through Ginter's Meadow and back to Lheidli T'enneh Memorial Park through Carrie Jane Gray Park and Hudson's Bay Wetland. This Caledonia Rambler's hike has been rated as moderate/ strenuous with a changing terrain, including gentle slopes up to 300 metres in elevation gain, and is 6 to 8 hours in length and over 20 km in distance.
Meet at 9:00am at the parking lot behind City Hall (1100 Patricia Boulevard) for car-pooling to the location. All hikers are requested to meet at the Prince George City Hall parking lot at least 10 minutes before the designated departure time to sign in and to arrange carpooling.
