Prince George is one of the highest water consumers in the province using 754 litres of water per person per day in 2015. That’s double the Canadian average of 329 litres of water per person per day. Lawn irrigation is one of the largest users of water in Prince George.
Attend a Water Wise workshop to plan a water-wise yard and garden. Learn how to install water-efficient irrigation and ways to conserve rain water for healthy plants. Learn about plants that require less water and maintenance.
Six Water Wise workshops will be held, located at 1950 Gorse Street in Prince George (the corner of Gorse Street and 20th Avenue by Lheidli T'enneh Memorial Park). The Water Wise Workshops are presented by REAPS, in partnership with the City of Prince George.
