Try roller skating – one of the Sport Discovery Try It! sessions hosted by the South Bowl Community Association and Engage Sport North, in partnership with the City of Prince George.
This free, beginner roller skating session provides an opportunity to participate in a new sport or improve skills. Professional coaching and instruction will be provided.
Participants do not need to live in the area where the community association is located. Participants must be 10 years of age or older (with no age limits).
The instructors will have equipment and roller skates available for participants. Participants will need to bring their own helmet, mouth piece (optional), and water bottle. Please wear appropriate athletic clothes as well as knee pads, elbow pads and wrist pads (if owned).
The session will run from 4:45pm to 6:00pm on Wednesday, May 2. Pre-registration is required. Register early; up to 40 spots are available.
Through a partnership of the City of Prince George with Engage Sport North and 7 Prince George community associations, 21 Sport Discovery Try It! Program sessions will be offered from September 2017 to June 2018. Each program session is facilitated by qualified and experienced coaches and Engage Sport North staff.
