SNOWSHOE/HIKE, WILLMANN ROAD TO THE UNBC GREENWAY TRAILHEAD

On Sunday, April 8th, the Caledonia Ramblers will be leading a Moderate/Strenuous (E4dr) snowshoe from Willmann Road, on Cranbrook Hill, southeast to the UNBC Greenway Trailhead. This snowshoe will last about eight hours (with travel being about 15 km) and will involve a vehicle shuttle and snowshoeing both on and off-trail.
Difficulty: Moderate/ Strenuous
Elevation gain: 600 - 900 metres
Trail length: 10 to 15 km
Duration: 8 to 12 hours
Travel cost: $2 per person
Participants should bring a day backpack, sufficient water or perhaps something hot to drink, lunch and snacks, extra warm clothing and rain gear, gaiters and hiking poles.
Please meet 10 minutes before the scheduled departure time of 8 a.m. in the parking lot behind Prince George City Hall.
The carpool fee is $2.
