As part of the Canada Day Celebrations, a Royal Canadian Air Force CP140 Aircraft will be flying over Prince George on July 1, 2017. Three aircrafts will be flying over various locations across British Columbia to celebrate Canada's 150th birthday:

The 419 tactical squadron will be flying a CP140 aircraft over Prince George, starting at the airport heading to the Nechako River, and then up the Nechako River past the Lheidli T'enneh Memorial Park. It is suggested to view the aircraft fly over in Lheidli T'enneh Memorial Park during the Canada Day Celebrations. See the pdf below for the location map of the aircraft flyover. The aircraft is scheduled to fly over Prince George at 1:00pm on Canada Day.
Please arrive early since the aircraft arrival time is approximate.
Note, in the case of an emergency or sudden operational requirement, the aircraft fly over may be cancelled with short notice.
